Regarding “Temporary Travel Document”?

Hi, I’m currently residing in Canada as a Landed Immigrant.
I got my land paper (IMM 1000) in 2002. I applied for a PR card in June of 2008 (this year) and have not yet recieved it. So I’ve done some research and discovered that IM 1000 is no longer a valid document for me to re-enter canada with. So my best bet right now is to apply for a “Temporary Travel Document” so i can re-enter canada after. As of now im still in Canada but i’ll be leaving the country to Hong Kong TOMORROW!
After some more research, the proccessing time for a “Temporary Travel Document” in Hong Kong’s Canada Embacy is 5 business days.
So I’m just wondering if the proccessing time is as they claim “5 days” or will it possibly be much much MUCH longer like how my PR card is still not ready yet? I’ll be staying in Hong Kong for 3 weeks, and i plan to go to the embacy on the second day of my arrival in Hong Kong. (Assuming if I’ve provided all the forms and fullfilled all the requirements to get the Document)?

5 days more or less is the processing time.
