In mens fashion what exactly is smart suits?

I just got a job in a high tech company and I need to submit work in a smart business attire. I do not really get what it is and I can not find information about it. Please help!

Smart dress means that you must be dressed somewhere between casual and formal. either a suit or a tie is not necessary, but you can not wear jeans either. You are required to wear pants that could be formal or khaki pants as stevedores etc. No jeans or as denim fabrics. tailored collar shirts. leather shoes or non-runners sneakers. Neat hairstyles. And the usual look fresh, sweet deo / perfume, maintained Look etc. Goodluck with the second new job!
