Do designers who work full time to pay a business tax, if they do a little independent projects?
I am a graphic designer with a full-time job and occasionally pick up freelance projects. I have not done any independent work in 2007 but made a game 3 projects in 2006. I recently received a letter saying that I have a business tax. Am I obligated to pay this eventhough I do not really company?
But you have a business. It might not be full time, but since you are self-employment is to have a business and you owe taxes on income.
