Why do some christians feel that violent entertainment is ok, but if swearing is in that entertainment?
… then it’s not ok? After thanksgiving dinner my christian cousin wanted to express his opnion about how Las Vagas is a bad place to visit, brag about his successful job (oh my wife and I are going to Itally), ask me about what I’m gonna do for the rest of my life, and then he wants to complain about how he can’t enjoy Call of Duty because when he plays online he hears all the french kids saying “f*ck” in every sentence, which really is none of John’s business. Why would John be playin a violent war game anyway if he’s so christian?
It is a good point. It’d be like watching a porno and then shutting it off because someone said “f**k me”.
I agree. If you’re going to make a statement against how morally wrong it is, then just don’t play it, right?
