Business Letters – Block Style Format… where I do put…?

Say I have already faxed something in regards to this letter, is there somewhere I need to put FAXED: example, on this letter? Or do I just simply state that in the letter??
hope I make sense!

Your receipt from the faxing company should be sufficient. If no receipt, why not copy the letter and staple it to any notes you have made about it. If you did fax it through some company, see if they’ll look over the letter and stamp a copy with a date.

What does Block Style Format have to do with this? If you want to see if they got the fax – a smart thing to do – call them or ask them to fax you back they got it. You could put this request on the cover sheet (fax sheet) of the letter. In big companies, lots of people take paperwork off the fax machine and things can get lost somewhere in the office.

I suppose you could print FAXED somewhere on the letter but it seems odd to do that and I don’t see what it would prove.
