Question regarding starting a small business?

I am starting a very small business. I have looked online to see if the name I’ve chosen is taken yet, and it is not. My question is, when I do a fictitious name registration, do I just put the name I want to use, or do I also need to include if it is Inc. or LLC, etc..? For example, If my company is called Little Dog Productions, is that all I list, or do I need to have the legal structure decided 1st, and list it as Little Dog Productions, Inc.??? I have searched everywhere to find this answer and I can’t seem to find it anywhere, so hopefully, someone out there can help me!

Go to your courthouse and register the business name. If you’re registering a business in any name other than your given name, it’s called a DBA (Doing Business As) and may be registered in the courthouse when you purchase your business license. Under 50 bucks
