Why are republicns now saying Senator Obama was the child of a unwed mother that was 17 when she had him?
This is not accurate his parents were married before he was born, and she was 18 and had finished high school.

On August 4, 1961, at age 18, she gave birth to her first child whom she named Barack Hussein Obama II.

At least be honest about what yu say.
I believe it was stated that she was unwed when she discovered she was pregnant. If she gave birth in August, that means she was pregnant in late November or early December predating her wedding.
But I think it is as irrelevant as people discussing Palin’s daughter’s pregnancy is.
