Which summer internship should I pick?

I’m currently in my junior year, and I’m thinking about summer internships to enhance my college application (I’m thinking Ivy League and Johns Hopkins for Premed). My choices currently are: work for a marketing/advertising company, or, work for a major European business, or, work for a women’s domestic violence charity, or also an organization specializing in business training. Which one would look the best?

What is your interest or interests … follow your heart not your pocketbook. An internship is a chance for you to get into a career field and explore its intricacies. Youth is a time of exploration so if I was advising you on choices I would once again say, “choose the one that best meets your goal in life, and not the one that means the most prestige or money in the future.” Many a person has decided to follow the route of making money only to be really unhappy with themselves and their lot in life.
