Would you buy semi-custom, handmade sandals for $ 50? Business need to collect!?
Would you buy semi-custom, hand-made sandals for under $ 50? Need help marketing my product.? I have a nice pair of sandals I've owned for more 10 years and thought they were quite successful. So far I have had good reviews of products (which are hand-crafter and very high quality), but not sales too. What a great way to make custom shoes to the American (and other) masses? Praying Enough successes of others who've run import / export companies or custom product. Also strategies string? See reviews of wholesale vs. retail? Pricing also welcome!
I am not a business type of person. This is just an idea. There where I live (Edmonton), there are shoes and leather goods repair shops in malls. They have a couple of these machines to sew heavy and heavy sewing and sale soling etc. They also sell a small range of products such as wax, varnish, stains, lace and mesquite often a small range of slippers. Now, here's the thing, most of them around me also carry a line of custom moccasins, native made. These are not the real art store of high quality or museum quality, but stuff like shoes are more comfortable and casual wear stuff. Prices are not K-Mart but not super expensive either. These Small stores often have additional wall or shelf, and as attractive product display. If it's something that does not cost much in storage, or care, and can move enough to pay for itself. they might be interested. Again, they seem to be looking for unique products that the eyes of people catch and attract them to the main service, this is not shoe stores but niche marketers, selling a service. I've also seen some stores with a small screen doped ice gripping outsoles that you strap on walking in icy conditions (our sidewalks are bad for the winter) which come in three sizes, does not take much space to display, and in this case are seasonal. I wish I had some good ideas and guarantee to offer, but that's it for today. I have no idea how they figure out the system of sale (commissions, wholesale or car) or if it is made like space rental. And if I was looking sandals you bet I would buy a decent pair housing for under 50 dollars, they sell for more than a hundred are all products of weight and I have big feet so I can not wear a them.Thats Another idea, try one of these type of hiking stores, customers are rich in species, and if they are like me, then they are very dissatisfied selection of shoes, and I am a member of the Mountain Equipment Co-op. Sandals suck all they can get, to form small and hard, my fingers are not sharp, why my boots be (except my riding boots and not even usually). If I could find a pair of sandals as a friend to me brougt of the East a few years ago I was in to buy a flash, never knew what country it has got, I think Israel.
