Wife and I were invited to dinner with her perspective employer. She was offered a job. Should I (the husband) send a thank you note since her boss paid for dinner for both of us.
If so, should a bottle of wine be included. It was a topic of discussion
No-that would make you look weird. Men don’t typically send thank you notes. Also, you are just on your wife’s arm. Window dressing. If your conversation helped her get the job, send yourself a thank you note.
