Can I get into law school with what I have?
I am currently a junior at Hofstra University. I have a 3.45 GPA and hopefully will rise over than in the next 2 semesters. I did not take the lsat yet. I am majoring in political science and minoring in legal studies in business. I will be taking an Honors Thesis Course and writing a 70 page thesis paper for political science. I interned at a prestigious law firm in the empire state building and received a letter of recommendation from the partner. I am working part-time at NYC civil court. I am starting an lsat course in February which will run through May. I already started practicing for the lsat.
How are my chances?
What else should I be doing?

While your resume is good, and that does count for something, it really comes down to GPA and LSAT. Your GPA is kind of low for political science (depending on where you’re planning on applying of course). The best thing you can do is get a great LSAT score. It’s good you’re taking the course. Take it seriously and do a ton of questions, and you should be able to get a good score and get into those schools you want.
