Should a law be passed to stop the Mexican Flag being flown at homes in the United States?
There was a news segment on TV last night, showing how Mexican immigrants had more or less taken over the Watts neighborhood in Los Angeles. The first thing I saw was a flag pole in front of a home, with a huge Mexican Flag flying in the breeze. I was offended. The formerly predominately black neighborhood was experiencing prejudice against black people, and Mexican immigrants were undercutting wages and refusing to do business with the blacks. Violence was occurring. This is the USA and is not a possession of Mexico. When a territory is won in a war, the country winning the war flys their flag. I believe immigrants in California should have pride in the USA , and not pride in Mexico.
DAR: Is Mexico the country the immigrants love? Why not the USA, since this is the country where they chose to live?
Anti’s Suck: If Ca is in Mexico, we need to stop giving Ca our federal tax dollars which the citizens of the United States work and pay.
No other flag should be flow alone, without the American Flag flown as well. I can understand if it’s an ethnic occation. Or if it’s at an ethnic restaurant. But not more prominant than the American Flag.
