What type of cards to use – Coated or uncoated?

I am starting a wedding planning business and work on my business cards. Are there ideas with glossy business cards with or without coating? I have a friend who used bed and I can not use a pencil to write on it, but I can use a pen (in case customers need to write something or I do). Thank you for your contribution!

You can get UV coating on one or both sides. I think UV is very elegant, but you generally can not write about them. However, if you need to write about them, maybe you can be UV coated on one side and the rear can be further brilliant, but uncoated so you can write on them.
