How do I get a spot for my business on the Las Vegas strip?
How do I go about doing this? I want to open up my own fast-food restaurant/candy and ice-cream shop in Vegas in a few years
Does anyone know if it’s hard to get a spot? Or how much it would cost?
Do you think I should buy or rent?
What about a small store in the Fashion Show mall?
Anyone know prices?
Buying is probably out of the question. I believe the last area of land on the strip sold for $27M per acre. If anyone is selling, you’ll be bidding against MGM Mirage, Harrahs and maybe Boyd gaming.. Renting might not be a good idea for the long term either. All those spots you could rent (and there’s not many) are squarely in the sights of MGM Mirage & Harrahs. They want to buy them, demolish what’s there and build something else.
I think your best bet is trying to get inside a hotel/casino.
