information business cards

Why you need a business card
Ever been in a scenario where you are asked if you had a business card and you had to write your address on a piece of paper or a towel?
It is not ideal, it is?
Having a card is integral part of running a successful business and networking with other people. Business cards are an extension of yourself and your business.
Your business card is a portable mini version that you are, what you do and how to get their hands on you. This property Rolodex to someone and in their minds.
The ability to quickly exchange or give a card to a potential client or business partner is not only practical, it is a necessity and suggests that you are someone who takes their line of work seriously.
I still remember the different cards over the years that have had an impact on me visually.
In fact, the card I have in mind to Today is the one I received few months ago. It was the voice actor of Mr. Daria Dutzmann. The mark was quite unique, has catching color and clear, identifiable theme.
Even if I did not watch this card for a couple of months (and did not before me now), he left an impact on me and because of its originality, it still has a piece of my mental real estate today.
If is good to be memorable and the brand effectively, it is also good to ensure that you have all your bases covered on the information that you make available on your card.
What should contain only information card mandatory?
– The name of your company
– A few words describing what you do (ie Professional Voice Talent, composer, etc.)
– Your name
– Your telephone number Business
– Your e-mail business
– Your Company Website
– Your Business Mailing
I seen all sorts of business cards and something that I noticed along the way is that the issues of quality of paper. This is not necessarily flashy colors on all the time or how many you have. The difference that the weight of a piece of paper can do is incredible.
My sister Lisa, a graphic designer who specializes in typography, I learned long ago what is the difference between a piece of common paper and one that is rich, the solid fibers that give paper a piece of the texture and durability.
If your selection of business cards are made only based on costs, do not skimp on the weight or quality of paper that your cards are printed on. Cards that have a physical weight or heavy feel to them associated with the strength, professionalism and are pleasant to touch and examine if it is held in your hand.
Although cards are extremely important, and most are inexpensive, some people did not buy because of the costs of printing and shipping.
If you are a member of this camp, perhaps a beginner, re-branding, or about to go places, there are some options you might consider for a cost-saving production card.
You can always design your card at home using a model from a software and print the cards yourself or to explore the use of Internet services that allow free printing costs if you agree to the list their company information on the back of the card.
Printing (ink related) and the cost of paper may be too costly to print up massive amounts of cards at home, if the second option could be more viable for you to consider.
If you want to get prints made online for almost nothing, if anything, these services are easy to find.
Why do they offer this option?
Whenever you give a card, they advertise for their website and print services. By printing your cards high volume, they are indeed saving money on advertising by providing business cards to give to many contacts. It is sense to have your cards support their information and give you free maps that it is to throw more money into advertising on their own.
You have the cards can use them, and we're happy. They made you happy, as their name on your cards, and can also receive more business because of this fact.
Services that offer free products also give you the option of paying for your cards without printing their information on them. The choice is yours.
Now they are just the basics.
If you need to have an effective brand image, communicate clearly contact information and a weight of paper you're comfortable, you can add bells and whistles to your card if you the budget for them.
Recently, the voice talent Mike Massa gave me a packet of mini impressive that accompanied his business card that includes a compact disc (miniature size) with the voice samples on it.
Ingenious!
The package itself is a plastic sleeve slightly larger than the card with enough space to fit in the CD case its sales demonstrations and narration, with its brand image to disk and play list, including a breakdown of all the points in each demonstration so that when you play along, you know what is coming up next.
You might think it is a miniature jewel case with inserts only is a flexible sleeve. There is still cover art and the list Reading and contact information Mike. He has a regular card, in addition to this package, if you are planning to present your prospects with something more tangible, be sure not to forget the card base to market your talents.
The key points to remember:
– Mark effectively
– Include your complete contact information business
– Be aware of the weight of paper
– Do your research
– Always have a stack of business cards in hand wherever you go
