Will receive a refund from a amazon.com seller?
I didn’t buy a tracking number, but I do have the receipt. I submitted a claim with amazon.com already. Amazon is saying that I will need to send them the tracking number used to return the item in order to further assist us with our investigation. They said also that they will be unable to take further action until they receive this information. If this information is not received within three business days, my claim may be closed.
I returned a phone because it was not as described. The item that I purchased from the seller was missing a wall charger. The item I ordered also was in a different condition (the phone smelled like cigarette smoke, dirty, and was used for Altel). I returned the item last week, but I don’t receive responses to the email messages that send to the seller inquiring about about the order. I did not even receive a refund from the seller.
It is doubtful you will get the refund, unless you can provide documentation of the item’s shipment and tracking number…
You dont “buy” a tracking number, and if you just returned it parcel Post cheap rate… you are in all liklihood screwed..
Rule #1 when dealing with Ebay and Amazon ( and others) You ALWAYS ship the thing back in a form that requires the recipient to sign for it… ALWAYS….
Rule #2… NEVER forget rule #1….
