CV … very small errors – should I worry?
I sent a cover letter / resume (pdf format) via e-mail more earlier today. In the email I said would follow a hard copy by mail within 2-3 business days. A little later in the day, I noticed a small error in a chip on my CV. I wrote "Press on with clients and analysis of test results and other problems and concerns "So I used the word" and "instead of" the "- I did not mail the paper copy and yet if I went back and fixed in the hard copy. And since I'm editing things I went back and cleaned wordy sentences and changed a few adjectives to make things seem more powerful than the letter. Do you think that since I admitted my mistakes and they are not in the paper I will not be thrown into the heap or reject what I have waste a lot of time to apply for employment? ~ Please do not judge me on my Grammar to 12. I know it's terrible.
Hello, I think it depends on two things. First – this type of work did you ask? If a position that requires writing and speed – then the error and subsequent changes would you cons. Second – if you are qualified for the position and to show the potential then I would not – minor corrections, if observed, could work in your favor. Good Luck!
